BODY LANGUAGE SECRETS FOR ATTORNEYS
Effective. Strategic. Credible.
Fear is what stops people from telling you the truth. Unless you’re representing them they don’t like you much less trust you. Unfortunately, attorneys are still the punch line of the ever pervasive joke, “Lawyers lie whenever their lips move.” Starting cases at such a disadvantage makes your job more difficult. Unless you know nonverbal communication strategies to establish and maintain rapport and trust with clients, witnesses and juries then you’re fighting an uphill battle.
Law, in my opinion, is a like a game of chess. You outplay and out strategize your opponent to win. So your strategy should include understanding silent messages people are sending you. Use body language strategies to get people on your side. You might think that you’re good at lie busting and you’d be wrong. Research shows that your ability to catch lies is no better than flipping a coin. Powerful and persuasive arguments are one part of winning cases. With my training, you’ll learn to spot the most common verbal phrases that liars use to cover the truth. Yes, you need evidence. And, you can know when to pursue evidence when you recognize the hot spots in someone’s words that suggest there’s more to their story.
The other part is effectively and strategically using body language to know which gestures and facial expressions indicate hidden emotions and stress. Communication is the ebb and flow of messages that you send when talking and interacting. The way you present yourself to clients, witnesses and juries send messages of your credibility, trustworthiness, and likability. What is your body language saying about you?

TESTIMONIALS
Rave Reviews. Real Results.
"Lawyers, especially those practicing in courtrooms, have to understand what their clients are communicating to them, the jurors, the judges, and other attorneys … it's not just what people are saying to you it's how they act … things that they demonstrate with their body movement and also with their word choices. Blanca has done a tremendous job distilling these things to help focus somebody on how to understand people. That I think is essential in our society — not just for lawyers, but for everybody because we all need to listen to each other."
